A Romantic Wedding in the Virgin Islands

My name is Kelly Jo Higgins and I had my wedding in St. Thomas on May 19th. Planning the big day was a bit nerve wracking because I wasn't sure of the vendors I was picking for each aspect of our destination wedding. Due to the distance we weren't able to personally meet with each and every one of them, so I was very uneasy, especially about the photographer. Yet from the very moment I spoke with Ethelbert, all my fears disapeared! I was completely at ease and had full confidence that I was going to get a wonderful photographer with very high professionalism. So the day arrived and there he was, making sure all my photo requests were filled and that every guest and wedding party member felt a part of the wedding album in the making! Ethelburt allowed me to be "bridezilla," while he got his photos with such grace and determination. Not one person felt as though he was bossing us around....that was my job..ha ha. He is so kind it's hard not to always have a smile on your face while you're looking into his lense! I know I am going to order many of his wonderful captured moments and can't wait to see all of his work! I am going to be ordering a table top album as he has a creative way in placing your photos into a master piece that will be cherished for a lifetime. Chic photography is nothing less than spectacular and Ethelburt is a delight to work with! Again Thank you..Thank you..Thank You!

Just watched the wedding DVD with my mom and Pat and they were absolutely floored at the masterpiece!!! You truly captured the day for us and again I can't thank you enough! My mom is still crying!!! Your professionals took the time to remove the lady's behind from my photo without even asking! Thank you so much! We are so pleased with the results. Seven days of EDUCATION and FUN in VEGAS...

Phill, John, Livi and I had a wonderful time in Las Vegas during the Wedding & Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) Convention. It was a week with new technologies, photography styles and techniques. Studying with some of the world’s greatest wedding and portrait photographers like Jerry Ghionis, Matthew Jordan Smith, Robert T, Williams, Kevin Kubota and many more. Adam and I want to THANK YOU for taking such personal and beautiful pictures of our wedding in St. Thomas. Our family and friends continue to comment on how perfect the pictures are, and how we look so "peaceful and in love!" We were so impressed that he captured our personalities on film. In fact, he even took the time to adjust my hair when the wind had blown it, and tied back a palm branch on a windy beach to get just the right shot. I have been in several weddings, and never had a photographer be so attentive and creative. Having the proofs available on-line was great for our out of town family, especially because it was just Adam and I in St. Thomas! Thanks for capturing our marriage so perfectly!

Hi Bert,

Thank you again for the beautiful work you did with our wedding photos. We can't stop looking at them.

The ones on the beach make us look like models! You showed us just how to pose properly.

We also appreciate the quick turn around with the printing. You were very hands-on, even handing my sister the press-on nails for me to wear before the wedding and helping to cut the ribbons for the bouquets!

You went above and beyond. As the day seem to go by so quickly, having photos to look back and enjoy is a pleasure. Also, since we don't have weddings in my family very often, I know we will treasure the photos for many years to come. It was a bittersweet day for my husband, having both of his parents deceased. But looking at the photos, I can see how truly happy he was. This was also the first wedding for a grandchild my grandmother was able to attend.Having her there was so special to me, and when I look at the photos of her and me together, it makes me so happy.
